During my time in quarantine, I was inspired to complete the different series shown below.  2020 saw it's fair share of heartache, anger, confusion and all around numbness.  I created to help me focus on the positive rather than wallow in current events, which started to take a toll on my overall well being.  All of the series below were heavily influenced by BLACK LIVES MATTER and the beauty of being black individuals. 

I was also inspired by Beyonce's film BLACK IS KING.  She captured the grace, beauty and all around magnificence of African and Black culture.  I wanted viewers to experience that same essence and positive energy upon looking at these individual series.
